Welcome to Tayo Skills School

Tayo Skills School is a Technical Vocational and Educational Training (TVET) institution in Somalia that equips young women with practical skills in tailoring, makeup and beauty, plumbing, IT and culinary arts. Tayo Skills School embodies the core theme of youth employment by directly addressing the challenges young women face in accessing quality education and gaining employable skills. Tayo School successfully trains and empowers young women with market-relevant abilities that enhance their employability prospects. Most of our graduates find jobs or start their own businesses when they graduate. Within the past three years, Tayo School has successfully empowered more than 700 young women with employable skills, opening doors to economic independence and a brighter future.
